Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

What are the seminars really about? The law enforcement community has done a great job (in our opinion) supplying weapons and other job-related training. Disturbing statistics outlining early death, suicide, and disease rates show us that these lifestyle issues have been neglected, even ignored. Participants in the Ready Warrior Seminars literally will experience a transformation and become empowered to make positive changes to enhance their lives mentally, spiritually, and physically. We know what is wrong and have designed a course specifically targeted to the Law Enforcement need. Without a doubt you will not find this type of training being done anywhere today in the United States. This is cutting-edge training, designed by a former law enforcement officer to meet the need!

Where are the seminars held? We are able to conduct our training programs locally in the Santa Rosa, California, area or we can bring the training to you. It all depends upon what suits your needs. Many agencies prefer having the training in their location in order to save on travel and per diem expenses as well as scheduling issues. Just let us know how we can best serve your training schedule.

How many participants can attend? We can handle as many students at a time as necessary. However, for the best training experience, and considering the personal nature of this type of training, we would recommend limiting each class to 30 participants. This allows each participant to receive individualized training. The larger the group the more we must focus on general concepts which can reduce the powerful impact of this training.

Is a general agenda available? Yes. Click here to view a sample agenda.

What should each participant bring? In addition to a positive attitude and the expectation to change your thinking and lifestyle choices, each participant should bring gym clothing for the street athlete core fitness training (NOT an extreme physical workout; all fitness levels may attend). Officers may also bring their duty belt (without weapons and chemical sprays) for individual recommendations during the seminar's ergonomics section.

What are the accommodations?pool Special discount pricing is available to seminar attendees staying at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa, California. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, you'll find the Flamingo Resort Hotel to be the perfect home away from home. With practical amenities like in-room coffee makers, refrigerators and hair dryers, every room is designed to provide both the pleasant surroundings and practicality that will make your stay as carefree and relaxing as possible.

Can I receive California POST certification? We do not have a POST certification for this training course at this time. However, we do have the necessary materials (expanded course outline, hourly distribution and POST resumes) so your training division can seek individual course certification and CPT credit for attending the course. If you need any of the support materials just let us know and we will provide them at no cost.

What does each Ready Warrior seminar cost? Costs for this program vary depending upon a number of factors, including the length of the training program, the number of students, the number of classes conducted, which topics are covered during the training and the location of the seminar (local vs. travel). Please call (707) 838-8358 so we can conduct a needs assessment to determine the specific program that will suit your unique agency needs and logistical issues. We will then provide you with a number of options designed to fit any budget.
